Jewish House: Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot

Sydney’s Jewish House organised for over 40 institutions to be visited over Rosh Hashanah  to allowed members of the community to hear the shofar.

The CEO Rabbi Mendel Kastel visited the Prince of Wales Hospital giving out apples and honey to Jewish patients whose medical condition meant no Rosh Hashanah meal with their families at home.

Jewish House and JNF will be holding a day at Taronga Zoo for over 1000 members of the community with a kosher food truck and Sukkah as well as educational material about animals form the Torah and Israel
