Jewish House launches JH Kids
Sydney’s Jewish House has officially launched JH Kids their child development program.
NSW Minister for Multiculturalist John Ajaka officially declared the JH Kids program in Grosvenor St, Woollahra open with the assistance of benefactor Nora Goodridge, Rabbi Mendel Kastel, Dr Kieran Le Plastrier and Dr Merrilyn Clancy.
The launch was followed by a gathering at COA Sydney with local MP’s, the community, families and children who are currently working with the JH Kids program attending the launch, each person learning about what JH Kids can provide children.
JH Kids provides care coordination and advocacy that integrates strategies that will produce the greatest outcomes for children within the dynamics of the family and the school, and ensure meaningful participation. Focusing specifically on behaviour, learning and health, the five care areas include: developmental bumps and wobbles, physical wellness and nutrition, school progress and learning, relationships with others and trauma in childhood.
