Jewish Care on the ready
Jewish Care joins with the greater Victorian community in expressing our disappointment regarding the latest circuit breaker restrictions following an outbreak of coronavirus in the state.
Jewish Care believes that The seven days restrictions underscore the very tenuous nature of the COVID-19 situation.
A spokesperson said: “Our COVID-19 Taskforce, made up of executive leadership and senior management, continues to lead Jewish Care’s actions and response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are very proud of our planning and confident in our capability to support each other and our community through the circuit breaker restrictions and beyond.
It is imperative that we remind our community how vital it is to protect themselves, their families, friends, and the greater community. Please follow the rules. Please get tested. Please get vaccinated.
If you have been to an exposure site or become unwell, or someone close to you becomes unwell, you must isolate and get tested immediately,” said, Bill Appleby, Chief Executive Officer.
This is Jewish Care’s immediate response to the Victorian Government’s recent announcement. The situation will be constantly reviewed as further health announcements are made and protocols updated accordingly.
