The Internet has not slowed down the sales of the The Jewish Community Council of Victoria’s diary.

“In an era when people increasingly seek information on the Internet, it is remarkable how sales of the JCCV’s diary/directory continue to grow every year”, according to acting JCCV president Anton Block.

“The JCCV provides two very comprehensive, information-packed websites, www.jccv.org.au and www.jewishvictoria.com.au.  While we encourage their use and both receive numerous visitors, the JCCV office is still always inundated with requests for our new diary prior to Rosh Hashanah”, Block continued.  “We have published it for more than twenty years and no one seems to tire of it.  And of course there is no reason why they should.  It’s thorough, user-friendly and familiar, providing a detailed guide to Jewish life in Victoria.  We have made every effort to keep it affordable and it has remained the same price ($20 and $15 for pensioners) for the past few years.”

The 2011/5771 JCCV diary is now available at a range of retail outlets, including newsagents, book shops and kosher stores, and at the JCCV office in Beth Weizmann.
