NCJWA is beginning 2021 by hearing about the position of Indigenous women, learning their stories and their truths. But knowledge is only the first step.
Join us on Tuesday 26th January 2021 at 8:00pm AEDT via Zoom to learn about the challenges of Indigenous women, both past and present, directly from inspiring Indigenous women.
SPEAKERS:
-
- Dr Lois Peeler AM, Executive Director / Principal of Worawa Aboriginal College
- Dr Payi Linda Ford, Principal Research Fellow at Northern Institute at CDU
- Emily Ford, Darwin’s Young Citizen of the Year 2020
- Isobella Kruger, Monash Student Association’s Indigenous Officer
NCJWA will then offer training for you to become an advocate for the Uluru Statement from the Heart through our program: Voice, Treaty, Truth: Online Advocacy Training, to be run in conjunction with Emanuel Synagogue and +61J.
