Israeli studying in Australia on MH17
A 27-yr-old Israeli student reported to have been living in Melbourne, is one of those who perished on the Malaysian aircraft shot down when flying over the Ukraine.
Itamar Avnon
Dutch-born Itamar Avnon is reported to have been in the Netherlands for a wedding. Media reports say his father Dov Avnon confirmed that his son who is reported to have served in the IDF as a paratrooper in 2007 was one of the 298 aboard MH17. He had dual nationality.
The Facebook post read “they say life is short – yes it is true – today 17-7-2014 our son Ithamar was in the crashed Malaysia airlines plain that went from Amstersam to Australia – Ithamar was 27 years old. i am happy that he grew up with the bible and the faith that Christ died for him on the cross. 1 Cor 15

Dov Avnon lives kn Nieuwegein in the Netherlands. The family formerly lived in Kiryat Tivon, Israel.
