Israeli reservist killed when tank overturns

An Israeli military reservist was killed on Sunday night when his tank overturned in northern Israel.

The Israel Defence Forces identified the soldier as Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yanon Fleishman, 31 of Jerusalem.

Two soldiers were injured in the incident near Rosh HaNikra, near the Lebanese border.

The IDF said it is investigating the incident.

Fleishman, who is survived by his wife and young son, will be laid to rest in Jerusalem.
