After two days of horrible Wellington weather, the Israel’s embassy in Wellington will host an open air cinema in the city’s Botanic Gardens this evening.
shareisrael“Lost Islands” is the third movie to be screened during a 3 day open air film festival in The Dell.

The movie starts at 8.30pm and everyone is welcome. Best of all, it is FREE.

The idea of having an open air film festival started a few months ago and with the support of Wellington Mayor Celia Wade-Brown it was planned for the period of 17-19 December.

“I can’t think of better Hasbara than sharing some of our best cinematic achievements with the people of Wellington” a spokesperson for the Embassy said.
Many are expected to attend tonight’s film screening.

“Je T’aime, I Love You Terminal” and “The Matchmaker” are two movies which had to be cancelled due to inclement weather. They been rescheduled for February. Exact dates to be confirmed.
