Israeli Deputy Chef de Mission Meir Itzchaki will address the community at the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies plenum meeting next week.

Meir Itzchaki

Canberra-based Itzchaki has just returned from a trip to Israel and will discuss current events in the Middle East, including the upheaval in the region, the Iran nuclear crisis and issues relating to Israeli domestic politics.

In addition, Board CEO Vic Alhadeff will deliver a presentation on the Board’s latest bridge-building trip – to Gunnedah, Narrabri, Coonabarabran and Tamworth.

“An opportunity to hear from Meir Itzchaki should not be missed,” Alhadeff said. “He will share his insights into a broad range of pressing developments in the region, and we urge members of the community to be there.”

The meeting will be held in the Benefactors Hall, Darlinghurst
