A new free app for your iPad is now available to help teach toddlers basic Ivrit.

Designed by Gil Weiss, the app uses puzzles and shapes to introduce words to little ones.

Weiss told J-Wire:  “I am an iPad apps developer from Israel and I just released a new educational Hebrew app – Kids 1st shape puzzle – learning animals, alphabets & numbers is an entertaining and fun-filled word learning game in English and Hebrew. Kids 1st shape puzzle application is great for learning Hebrew for kids ages 2+, as it includes all the basic words – אלף בית,numbers, colors, house things, fruits and vegetables and more.

Kids 1st shape puzzle is a great tool for learning Hebrew, can be a great learning game for the Jewish community and already received an Educational award. ”
