Melbourne’s Chabad Youth coordinated an Interschool Challah Bake for high school students in preparation for the Shabbat Project.

Two hundred girls from five Jewish schools in Melbourne participated at the Werdiger Centre, along with representatives from state schools. Students from Beth Rivkah, Bialik, Mount Scopus, and Yavne, joined in planning a fantastic program.

The girls had a blast with Shabbat trivia rounds, ably led by Avigail Wonder. The Brocha was made on the challah with the girls praying for those who need a blessing, challah shaped and topped, and then on to DJ led dancing.
