Jeremy Jones, AIJAC’s Director of International and of Community Affairs, participated, delivering a Jewish prayer for those infected by the disease, their families, for doctors, nurses and scientists in the forefront of efforts to develop and deliver treatment and for political leaders to act wisely and courageously.

Other prayers were delivered from Hindu, Buddhist and Christian traditions, on similar themes.

The event was organised by prominent Indian Australian community activists Madhuparna Sen who has been working with India’s Covid Care Network to provide channels for Australians wishing to support Indians at this time.
