Two indigenous descendants of World War I Battle of Beersheva fighters have addressed  The New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies’ plenum on their participation in the centenary re-enactment in Israel.

A spokesperson for the Board told J-Wire: ” It was one of the most moving NSW Jewish Board of Deputies plenums ever held.”

Board of Deputies member Jenny Symonds, who arranged for 12 indigenous descendants to attend the re-enactment, also addressed the plenum.
