In these days of cybersecurity, Israel can help

A few weeks ago, I came across a tender looking for companies to provide real-time awareness of cybersecurity hacking for the Sydney Opera House’s website.

I didn’t think at first that the iconic Opera House would have or need cyber security solutions in place, but they receive donations, have members, partner with Corporates, and are a general destination website for users. So, I reached out to our partners at the Israel Export Institute and asked them to compile a list of Israeli companies that could fulfil this tender.

Then, last week, unless you’re living under a Rosh Hashanah apple, you would know about the hacking that occurred on Optus’ website in what is now Australia’s largest ever cyber hack. Millions of Australians are now uncertain about their digital identity. Is their information compromised? Is Optus on top of things? Have Optus secured its current vulnerabilities? If only they would have put to tender what the Opera House did and could have uncovered this new Israeli cyber security startup that is growing like a rocket ship and, because of its nimble size, can provide security for a fraction of the price.

What is the challenge now for Corporates?

Compromised computer credentials become the main driver for ransomware attacks and malicious activities against an organisation’s data. Information stealers, or malicious software, are typically designed to obtain sensitive records through accessing and copying the data. These information stealers function beyond basic keylogging to harness usernames, passwords, keys, tokens, cookie sessions, and more. They boost the malware market; the main challenge to organisations is early detection of the event and full relevant intelligence for a fast remedy.

What does the Israeli company do?

New and cutting-edge Israeli cyber security company – Twilight Cyber – provides fast detection of compromised machine credentials information for Enterprises, Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), and Government entities. This rapid detection dramatically reduces the probability of being assaulted by ransomware attacks, data fraud, and internal damages.

Twilight Cyber provides a tailored threat intelligence solution that leverages automation and domain experts to identify weak spots and vulnerabilities in the enterprise community, including personnel, suppliers, and customers, in places others cannot find. The proactive solution enables customers to be one step ahead of attackers with the ability to act fast when a compromise appears, hence uprooting attacks in their early stages before any damage occurs.

How do I speak with them to discuss the solution?
