Nosson Deutsch was an American teenager with family in Melbourne who was killed tragically in a jet ski accident recently.

Nechama Cowen is a pupil at Beth Rivkah who has launched a program called Fingerprints through which she hopes to raise $88,000 to cover the purchase of an ambulance in Israel in association with Magen David Adom.

She said: “We would like to make something positive out of something so tragic and we hope this will involve the entire Melbourne Jewish community.”
