Only a few places are left on the unique mission to Israel which will be run by the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies in conjunction with the highly-regarded Israel-based HonestReporting.
The mission will appeal to all members of the community who are interested in Israel and has no fundraising component.
The Board of Deputies has worked with HonestReporting to design a program which is uniquely balanced.  To be led by HonestReporting chief executive officer Joe Hyams and Board of Deputies President Yair Miller, the mission will begin in Israel on November 26 and conclude on December 4.
Numbers are strictly limited to ensure that each participant benefits from intimate meetings with experts from across the political spectrum: ministers, politicians, military and strategic experts, diplomats, Jewish and Arab journalists, Israeli and Palestinian non-government organisations and human rights activists.
“We strongly urge members of the community to avail themselves of this unprecedented opportunity,” Board of Deputies chief executive officer Vic Alhadeff said. ”Not only will participants on this mission acquire rare insights into the pressing issues of the day, they will return with the tools to better understand and explain the complexities of the Middle East.”
The mission is open to all members of the community.
