The title of the presentations was: A Human Rights and Social Justice Program with a focus on The Jewish Partisans & William Cooper, Upstanders vs Bystanders.
Dr Bill Allen was the lecturer at the School of Education where the classes were 2nd and 3rd-year students of about 20 students each.
Rabinowitz said: “One of our challenges as Holocaust educators, remains the limited availability of suitable local resources for students preparing to teach the complex subject of the Holocaust, its underlying causes, consequences, and connections to indigenous Australians. These students are keen to learn more, but there seem to be issues with Holocaust study at school level before ahead of university.”
