For 40-yr-old Andrew Pryer it will be the 12th time he has competed. He was a member of the crew of “Yendys” which won the race on handicap in 1999.

This year Pryer is a member once again of the crew of 98′ maxi-yacht “Lahana”. Last year, he celebrated with the rest of his shipmates as “Lahana” crossed the line in third place. A member of Pryer’s family told J-Wire: “He is hoping they will make it first across the line this year”.

32-yr-old investment banker Mark Lewkovitz is aboard the 65′ yacht “Southern Excellence”. This is his second trip to Hobart. Last year, he was a crew member on the same vessel which retired from the race.
