We have received approval from the President of the NSW Legislative Council to hold our 75th-anniversary AGM in the Legislative Council chamber on Tuesday 18 August 2020!

25 years ago when the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies held its 50th AGM in the Legislative Council chamber, its current CEO Vic Alhadeff covered the story as the editor for The Australian Jewish News.

Board of Deputies president Lesli Berger told J-Wire: “It will be a major honour for the Board of Deputies to hold its 75th AGM in the Legislative Council chamber, emulating the great precedent established 25 years ago, We thank the President of the Legislative Council, the Hon John Ajaka, for this recognition of our community and of the Board of Deputies.”
