Hackers have infiltrated the Hillel organisation’s web site.

A routine check of the web site by the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies’ Nat Pozniak brought up the shocking image reproduced below.

The NSWJBD immediately contacted Hillel director Sarah Myerowitz who has just returned from holiday. She told J-Wire: “I contacted our webmaster who is currently on holiday and he very kindly got straight on to removing the offending material.”

NSWJBD CEO Vic Alhadeff added: “We have a joint venture in place with Hillel and had a need to look up material on their site and that’s how we discovered it.”

Hillel is an organisation which assists Jewish university students on campus.
