Rock star music maker Ilan Kidron is highly experienced in every aspect of the entertainment industry.

Henry Greener and Ilan Kidron

After delving into the jazz scene in Sydney, Ilan started collaborating with two Irish musicians leading to an eight-year whirling journey as the frontman of “The Potbelleez”.

They had great success with many local shows, awards and world tours, performing electro-house dance music, with huge hits such as “Don’t Hold Back” and “Hello”.

Ilan has recently been deeply involved in the evolution of a Sydney-based collaboration with Daniel Grynberg, Sarita Gold and the Board of the Dunera Project, a video platform to bring together a multi-media showcase of mainly Jewish artists and personalities, to create an online opportunity for the many homebound people not able to see live shows to connect to arts and cultural performances and events. Last Saturday night, a 2-hour Zoom Event, organized in just two weeks, was created to show solidarity with our Jewish community during the High HolyDays, dedicated to the isolated, locked-down people down south, with a spectacular show entitled “To Melbourne with Love”, with Ilan Kidron as the MC and main organizer. The line-up of performers and those expressing solidarity can be seen at www.dunera.org.au/CatchUp
