Hebrew University of Jerusalem Board of Governors meeting online

The community is invited to experience the Hebrew University “virtually” on Monday morning and Tuesday morning AEDT when friends and supporters from all around the world will join for the University’s 83rd Board of Governors Meeting that normally takes place physically in Jerusalem but of course, cannot this year because of Covid.

Rob Schneider, CEO of the Australian Friends told J-Wire that despite the constraints of a virtual meeting, an exciting program has been organised including the opening by Israeli President, Reuven Rivlin.

Other highlights will be:-
· An interview with best-selling author, Hebrew University Professor, Yuval Noah Harari.
· An interview with Nobel laureate Professor Roger Kornberg
Aside from these interviews and the formal business of the Board of Governors, there will be musical interludes and discussions on how the Hebrew University has managed during these days of Covid.
