The Australian Friends of the Hebrew University (NSW Division) has co-hosted a dinner with the Sir Zelman Cowen Universities Fund at the InterContinental Hotel Double Bay.

Over 160 guests heard about groundbreaking developments in science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the presence of the University’s President, Prof Menahem Ben Sasson and with extremely engaging presentations by Prof Oded Shoseyov, Professor of Plant Sciences on “Nature’s Gift” and Sarit Sternberg, a 16-year old Jerusalem high school student who studies at the Hebrew University through the Alpha Program for Gifted Students – a national program of the Future Scientists Centre.
