Healing Garden in Jerusalem
Hadassah Mt. Scopus has celebrated the inauguration of the Jack and Robert Smorgon Families’ Foundation Healing Garden Project in Jerusalem.
Smorgon families receive gifts
The ceremony was led by Prof. Eitan Kerem, and the speakers were Dr. Osnat Levzion-Korach, Hospital Director, Mayor of Jerusalem Nir Barkat, Andy Michelson on behalf of KKL’s Management, Marcie Natan on behalf of Hadassah, Prof. Arnon Afek on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Roz Kaldor-Aroni on behalf of Hadassah Australia, Mira Aharoni on behalf of the patients and Jack Smorgon. Simone and Joe Krycer were mentioned and thanked for their vision and help to get the project off the ground.
The ceremony in the magnificent gardens was very touching with musical interludes by the Shalva Ensamble and Gideon Aroni.
June 2014 National Mission members attended the ceremony… a wonderful close for the mission.
