It is 2023. In Melbourne. In a restaurant named Bavaria in Knox St Westfield Shopping Centre, around 20 neo-Nazis celebrate the 134th anniversary of Adolf Hitler’s birthday.

During the “party”. A photo of Hitler was held before, and Nazi salutes were performed.

The police attended, but there were no arrests. Just instructions to move on.

Daniel Aghion, the president of The Jewish Community Council of Victoria, told J-Wire: “When this bunch of deluded fools paraded on the steps of Parliament House recently, the outpouring of communal anger – both Jewish and non-Jewish – was clear evidence that they are not wanted in Victoria by anyone.

Nobody spoke in favour of them, and nobody supported them. We should not waste our time on attention-seeking behaviour from a tiny group of people that no-one cares about.”

Well, I think they should be stamped out. What’s the point of all the recent Victorian government legislation to curtail Nazi-type behaviour and Nazi symbols made public, if this kind of meeting can take place? It is after all in a restaurant, not the personal home of one of them. We should care about this tiny group of people.

these people are lost and sick.they really don’t understand the meaning of holocaust. Over 6 million jews by the dictator Hitler.
