Communities around the country manned the phones raising funds during JNF’s Green Sunday.

In Sydney, the fund-raising took a new turn with school students receiving an iTunes gift card each time a pledge of over $150 was recorded.

School students were briefed by Doron Lazarus and Shlomo Ben-Chaim before heading to the call centre set up in the offices of one of JNF’s biggest supporters.

Whenever a significant amount was raised by one of the volunteers, a bell was rung and the presentation of an iTunes voucher was made.

Also participating were veteran JNF supporters.
