In one of her first public roles, Victoria’s recently appointed Governor Linda Dessau has unveiled the foundation stone of the Marilyn Rowe House…a planned residential centre for aspiring ballet dancers.
Governor Dessau addresses the event
The new centre, named after the Sydney-born dancer,is located next to the Australian Ballet School in the Melbourne suburb of Parkville and will accommodate ten students. It is the first residential facility for the school and was secured by Marilyn Rowe.
