The President of the ECAJ, Robert M Goot, is heading to New York for consultations with the World Jewish Congress, on the WJC’s action plan to neutralise the campaign attempting to de-legitimise Israel. Australia has been given a leading role within the WJC in advancing this important project.
Goot will discuss the action plan and other issues with Ministers of the Israeli Government, experts and Ministry of foreign Affairs officials in Israel, before travelling to New York at the end of the month.
Whilst overseas Goot will represent Australia at meetings of the Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture in Jerusalem in June and the Claims Conference in New York in July.
