Zakaria Zabeidi was one of the six security prisoners who escaped from Gilboa prison before Rosh Hashanah.

And he was one of the four who were recaptured last Friday night.

Now it has been revealed that Zakaria Zabeidi told his lawyer that there was no plan of what to do once the six escaped the prison. He said that the escape came suddenly, once the tunnel was completed, and that decision to go north of the jail was not planned ahead of time.

Zabeidi also revealed that when the escapees made it to the Arab town of Na’ura they were denied entry to the local mosque or any help from it.

The prisoners also disagreed on where to go and what to do. They only split up into different groups because of this and their failure to get any help.

If true, this could mean that they had no outside help for the escape as was believed at first by Israeli security forces.
