In a unique scheme, a New York philanthropist is offering A$500 to any Australian university student willing to complete an eight-week online course in Torah learning starting on September 7.

The Sinai Scholars Society has been available up until now to US students only.

Local representative  Rabbi Eli Feldman told J-Wire: “If a student applies from New Zealand we will try to accommodate them. Sinai Scholars International is based in New York and funded by philanthropist George Rohr.”
