An American philanthropist in America is generously donating funds to help university students connect with Judaism giving a $350 stipend to any student that completes a tailor-made eight session course on the fundamentals of Judaism.

There is a new course named  “Sinai Scholars” starting Monday 21 August 4-6pm at the AEPi House at Shalom College, UNSW, Randwick  in Sydney and continues for eight weeks.

As the University Jewish Chaplain, Rabbi Eli Feldman will be teaching the course.

Rabbi Feldman told J-Wire: “The course is very attractive to students as they can make pocket money for learning Torah instead of packing shelves at Coles. We encourage university students from across the community to attend.”

Rabbi Feldman thanked Mr George Rohr for making the funds available.

More information about the course is at the following link and in the flyer below.
