The Daily Telegraph has sighted four statuary declarations from witnesses who heard pro-Palestinian supporters chant “gas the Jews” outside the Sydney  Opera House.

The story of the chants being heard two days after the October 7 massacre perpetrated by Hamas went around the globe.

The Daily Telegraph reports one declaration states: “I saw two separate groups coming in towards the steps and they were chanting different things,” one declaration reads.

“One group was chanting ‘from the river to the sea’ and ‘Allah akbar’ while the second group was chanting ‘gas the Jews’ and ‘f–k the Jews’ and then the two groups merged into one.”

Up until now, NSW Police have not been able to act as they did not have evidence that the protestors could be clearly stating “gas the Jews”. Now they have the statuary declarations.

The New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies has told J-Wire they know about this development.

Alex Ryvchin, the co-CEO of The Executive Council of Australian Jewry, told J-Wire: “Everyone knows that “gas the Jews” was chanted. Even the organisers of the anti-Israel protest acknowledged it.

The fact that months have now passed without meaningful action is extremely disappointing and signals to other extremists that they can get away with their incitement and vilification of Jews.

This incident also demonstrates how a small number of activist journalists can deny antisemitism even when it occurs in plain sight.

The willingness of people to believe the chants were made up despite overwhelming evidence is similar to the denial of the October 7 atrocities themselves.

I hope the perpetrators can speedily face justice and those who tried to mislead the public into thinking the whole thing was a fabrication face the consequences for their dishonesty and gaslighting.”

Spot on, Alex Ryvchin, as usual. Your analogy between denial of the October 7 atrocities and the easy denial by activist journalists of these horrendous chants, is absolutely correct. And this is what we face now with the whole situation , from October 7 through to everything Israel and the IDF are doing to defend and combat. It’s shocking indeed.

Now the police have these stat. declarations, let’s see some action instead of just fine talking. Let us see people such as these voicing their hatred and spreading their ugliness brought to account.
