Funeral service for Henri Sueke
A funeral service will be held at Sydney’s Chevra Kadisha on Sunday following the death of Dr Henri Sueke fatally injured when his bike fell under the wheels of a truck in New South Head Rose Bay yesterday.
Plans are underway to hold a minyan on Sunday evening at Dover Heights Shule.
The body of the father of four who was a recent immigrant to Sydney will be flown next week to Israel for burial.
Henri Sueke was 36 years old and is survived by his wife Dana and four young children. The family moved recently to Sydney from Manchester where Dr Sueke was a practising mohel. In Sydney he was an honorary fellow at Westmead Children’s Hospital specialising in paediatric ophthalmology. Dana Sueke is a former Moriah College student.
The service at the Chevra Kadisha in Woollahra is expected to be conducted by Rabbi Motti Feldman and Rabbi David Blackman and will take place at 2:00 p.m.
