Frank Lowy tops the BRW
Westfield shopping centre magnate, Frank Lowy has topped this year’s BRW 200 wealthiest Australian list.
His fortune has been valued at $5.4 billion…and that puts him on top a list that he has featured in for 27 years for the first time, a list on which he was second last year.
Visy chief Anthony Pratt has fallen from number one to number three with a fortune of $4.6 billion in spite of his personal wealth growing by $300 million.
In fifth spot lies Meriton property development chief Harry Triguboff with a reported $4.2 billion and 55,000 apartments.
Mining man Joseph Gutnick has been readmitted to the list at spot No 133 with $300 million….he has been off the list for ten years.
Charlotte Vigdor has been named the fourth richest woman in Australia. The CEO of the Medina apartment group is reported to be worth $483 million. She heads Naomi Milgrom who is Australia’s fifth wealthiest woman. The CEO of the Sussan Group is reported to be worth $367 million.
