Frank Lowy in Hospital

Westfield co-founder Frank Lowy is being treated in hospital for an inflamed bile duct.

Westfield have issued s statement saying that Lowy is being treated with antibiotics and is expected to make a full recovery.

Lowy is currently non-executive chairman of the shopping mall giant he created with the late John Saunders.

The condition which he is experiencing is called cholangitis.
