Four score top marks in NSW

Four students from Sydney’s Moriah College have scored the top mark of 99.95% in the HSC resuts announced this week.

It was a second top this week for Katherine Tobias who came first in the State in  Classical Hebrew Continuers and Extension.

Tobias, who plans to study law, told J-Wire: “I have my choice between the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales…but I really want to continue with my Hebrew studies.”

India is first stop for the budding lawyer where she will carry out voluntary work with the children of indentured workers. J-Wire asked the 2010 female School Captain if she had had to make sacrifices.She said: “I was very fortunate in that the books we had to read for the English exam were very enjoyable…so I cannot say I suffered too much, although it was hard work.”

A school spokesperson tol J-Wire that the 99.95% top mark had also been awarded to students Nathan Hauser, Tali Feiglin and Jessica Glanz.
