FIrst Modern Orthodox Creche in Melbourne
Leibler Yavneh College has announced it will open the Yavneh Crѐche in January next year at their Balaclava Road Campus in Melbourne.
“After much planning, this new facility will add a new dimension to our College”, says College Principal Roy Steinman. “We are now ready to open our doors and offer the community a much-needed Modern Orthodox Jewish Crèche that instils a love of Israel in each and every child. We will have two new classes for children aged 15 months-24 months and 24 months to 36 months, alongside our Kindergarten children. We believe our Crèche will be a wonderful addition to the Yavneh ‘family’ and what Leibler Yavneh College has to offer.”
The College has engaged highly regarded teacher and Team Leader, Mandy Gecelter, to provide expert advice on the set-up and programming. The Crèche program will be ‘best practice’ with an emphasis on interactive play experiences for all children. All staff will be highly trained, experienced and committed to adhering to all childcare guidance, health and hygiene standards.
The Crèche facilities will include purpose-designed and age appropriate play areas, brand new indoor and outdoor equipment and a variety of toys and activities for toddlers. It will also provide the warm family atmosphere associated with Yavneh, with an emphasis on developing the Jewish values of each child whilst instilling a love for Israel.
The state-of-the-art play space and registered long day care will open for 48 weeks of the year and government rebates are available. Parents are welcome to enrol their child in full day programs on days that most suit their family.
“Yavneh looks forward to welcoming your family into our family”, says Nava Miller, Head of Early Learning Centre.
