First ever Aged Expo
The Aged Expo was the first ever time that all of seven Sydney Jewish organisations which provide aged care have presented their services at the one time.
In order to inform the community about what is available and how easy it is to access help, COA, Montefiore Home, Wolper Jewish Hospital, BNai Brith Retirement Villages, The Burger Centre and JewishCare as well as Hatzolah all displayed their services and programs at the Burger Centre.
Over 100 people attended the event which also included a talk by PHD student Amit Lampit on the hottest topic in ageing “ Brain Training “ plus the launch of the new Gateway initiative that will be serve as the single point of entry for all Jewish aged services. Ruth Faludi (pictured belowcentre) will be answering calls to the new Gateway.
