It has been a huge season for Sydney’s Maccabi Seniors Women’s AAW5 team, as the finals draw near.

A HUGE accomplishment for the Maccabi Women’s AAW5 football team, which has now topped the league with two league games still to play, claiming the minor premiership.

It’s been a remarkable season for the team, who have won 13 of the 16 games played, drawn 3, with no losses. They’ve also amassed a massive goal difference, having conceded just 1 goal in the last 8 games.

The core of the team has been together (in various combinations) for 7+ years. The team’s top goalscorer is Dalia Bloom with 20 goals for the season to date, almost half the team score.

Well done to all the players & coach Michael Synnott and best luck for the finals in a few weeks!
