The Sydney Maccabi Futsal club is on the way to Wellington to compete in the inaugural New Zealand National Futsal League…and they want to meet members of New Zealand’s Jewish community.

Our Sydney side is the only Australian side invited to participate in the event
The team comprises the nucleus of the Maccabiah team that competed in Israel in 2009. The side is ably led by Doron Pozniak, while Futsalroo squad members Jordan Mundell and Daniel Fulton are part of the team roster
Series 1 begins this weekend with Maccabi playing Wellington to open the tournament at 11am Saturday 27th November at the South West Stadium Hutchison Rd Mt Cook Wellington.
The remainder of the weekend games are all being played at the South West Stadium:
3.00pm Sat Christchurch v Maccabi/Hakoah
7.00pm Sat Palmerston North v Maccabi/Hakoah
9.30am Sun Maccabi/Hakoah v Dunedin
11.30am Sun Auckland v Maccabi/Hakoah
We invite the Wellington Jewish community to come and support Maccabi, be entertained with the highest level indoor football available.
