The production plays nightly 2-5 October plus a Saturday matinee and rehearsals have been taking place at North Shore Temple Emanuel. A number of other Jewish performers and crew are involved including Naomi Jandausch.

Fame is one of the great Broadway musicals and is based on the Academy-award-winning 1980s movie. It includes the thrilling title song that won an Oscar for Irene Cara. Set in the NYC High School of Performing Arts where talent is gold, the harsh truth is that only blood, sweat and tears can realise young dreams of stardom. Long before Glee or reality TV, there was FAME… and this production promises to be a high-energy hit! Full details at www.chatswoodmusicals.org
