A Melbourne self-defence training school teaching methods used by the Israel Defence Force has been banned from posting on Facebook after highlighting ant-semitic comments posted on its own site by a detractor.

Yemini’s business banned from posting

Avi Yemini is the co-owner of IDF Training and was banned from posting after he published a screenshot of a post received on the gym’s Facebook page  claiming that “Australia is against Israel” and calling Yemini “a pig-“f*****r”.

Yemini’s post was reported to Facebook who then banned him from posting for three days.

Yemini told J-Wire: “All I’ve done is call out someone who has used Facebook to single out IDF Training as a target for anti-semitic verbal abuse.  I’ve never heard from Cain Ramsay before in my life, but I know for sure he doesn’t

represent the Australia I know and love.

Yemini told J-Wire that Facebook had removed the offensive original post “but banned me from personally or the IDF Training page from posting for 3 days which means I couldn’t go about my business on their platform.

Meanwhile, someone who sends messages of hate and calls an Australian-Israeli a “pig-f****r” is acceptable to Facebook? It doesn’t make sense.”

In the meantime attempts by community bodies to have the virulently antisemitic Facebook page belonging to the so-called  and self-named The Australian Department of Public Enlightenment removed have fallen on deaf ears and fingerless keyboards at Facebook. This is an example of the type of content they peddle.

This guy has done nothing wrong. I guess the Facebook aspect of American culture is very controlling and is reflecting the broader one, which is so good at pumping out anti-bacterial products to cleanse the Western world, to the planet’s detriment. I see this whole shebang, as a measure of just how much garbage Facebook blithely tolerates. I guess it just looks the other way and gets busy enjoying the Cal beach culture….

What… No mention of the Muslim Tax Halal that’s on everything at Coles, Woolies. How about posting a list of all jewish products we can get in Australia so us poor schlamiels can by them and support Israel.

  3. Liat Kirby-Nagar says:

I never use Facebook. I have better things to do with my time, including reading, reflecting and writing. I know of others who have been hurt or manipulated by using it. It definitely needs to be accountable.

  4. Michael Barnett says:

I’ve been banned similarly in the past. Facebook is extremely unreasonable, unforgiving and unaccountable.

  5. Erica Edelman says:

Just keep calling them out. Sooner or later FB
    will get it .

    • Debbie Scholem says:

Will they? Maybe it’s time for Jews to boycott Facebook. Could we stand the pain of withdrawal though?
