Sydney’s Young Adult Chabad will hold free Jewish New Year Services exclusively for the younger members of the community…believed to be a first-ever.

This is an innovative idea as this is the first time in Australia that specific Synagogue Services for the High Holidays are being conducted for young adults. Most Synagogues have a mix of people of all ages, but Rabbi Eli Feldman is running these specifically for young adults as very often they drift from religion and providing something specifically for them gives it a social dimension as well.

Rabbi Eli Feldman told J-Wire: “It is also unique in that seats for the services are free and therefore it may well be the only Synagogue in Australia where the seats for high-holiday services are free of charge. We will also be holding the full Yom Kippur service.”
