Eight exceptional fund managers to debate on the future of investing
A charitable managed investment fund-of-funds has announced it will host a professional investors panel series for keen investors to attend in November.
The series will feature typically competitive professional fund managers who will come together in a rare forum to discuss perspectives on investing in 2020 and beyond.
The ORAH Fund will host the two-part investment forum “Future of Investing” for the investor community via live webinar.
Held over two series, focusing on international and local perspectives respectively, the in-depth curated debates will be moderated by ORAH Fund chairman, and CEO of Pengana Capital Group, Russel Pillemer.Russel founded The Orah Fund in 2016 with his wife Carole and to date have allocated over $840k to worthy charities.
“The eight fund managers will be asked to look at how investors can assess today’s potentially distorted asset prices as well as investment risks and opportunities that are likely to present themselves as the world acclimatises to COVID,” Mr Pillemer said.
“Our invited panellists are from as far afield as Sydney to Chicago, Brisbane to Jerusalem, and represent the underlying professional money managers in The ORAH Funds charitable fund of funds.”
“Not only have these eight leading fund managers been generous in their decision to donate 100% of their fees to charities, but they are also generously sharing their knowledge and opinions with the investor community via this series.”
The first panel will discuss global perspectives of the future of investing at 12pm AEST Tuesday, November 17 2020.
That panel will feature Mark Arnold of Hyperion Asset Management, Damien Green of IFP Global Franchise (a Macquarie Professional Series Fund), Jon Moog of Lizard Investors in Chicago, Steven Glass of Pengana International Funds and Gabi Dishi of Alpha LTI in Israel.
The second panel will discuss domestic perspectives, starting at 12pm AEST Tuesday, November 24 2020.

“Attendees should expect a robust and educational discussion thanks to the panels of generous and exceptional fund managers,” Mr Pillemer said.
