The ECAJ is the national umbrella organisation whose responsibilities peak at being the major spokebody within Australia on behalf of the country’s Jewish communities. Its members include representations of major bodies from the individual States.

Australian leadership condemns Hamas

The Executive Council of Australian Jewry has commended the Australian government for voting against three major resolutions criticising Israel at the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly on 30 November 2018, after having abstained on those same resolutions in previous years. [Read more]
