More than 35 leaders of the NSW Jewish community attended an online forum focusing on the current COVID-19 outbreak in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

The forum was organised by the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies, in partnership with Multicultural NSW and NSW Health.

Topics discussed pertained to the Eastern Suburbs Jewish community with leaders from other areas of the city also involved.

Representatives from Jewish organisations were given the opportunity to hear updates from NSW Health and Multicultural NSW about the outbreak, and discuss the latest changes in both State and Federal policies.

Darren Bark, CEO of the Jewish Board of Deputies outlined the importance of ensuring the community has the most up-to-date, accurate and reliable information available.
He commented: “The Jewish Board of Deputies is always here for our community. We have partnered with NSW Health to host a community forum to get answers directly from NSW’s best doctors, in addition to making resources easily available online. Visit www.nswjbd.org.au.
