Dunera is a specially designed web portal to keep members of the Jewish community occupied during these difficult times and beyond.

It was launched today with a witty introduction by Jonathan Biggins doing his famously brilliant impersonation of Paul Keating.

Founding curators Daniel Grynberg, Joanna Kalowski, Lisa Goldberg and Ilan Kidron who also signed off with a heartwarming solo rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”.

Watch the opening and visit the site at www.dunera.org.au.

Dunera aims to provide content for all members of the Australian and New Zealand communities.

The creators welcome content for consideration from all organisations and individuals.

“Its really been a great joy to work with a team of such passionate and talented community-minded folk, and we’re all just thrilled that our little website is now launched. And to have it launched by a Prime Minister and blessed by a Rabbi no less!

Daniel Grynberg told J-Wire: “We really do hope that we’ve created a platform that people will enjoy and use to stay connected, and we encourage everyone with compelling content, particularly interactive content, to share it on Dunera so that the platform truly come alive.”

The initiative is under the auspices of Emanuel Synagogue in Sydney.
