The Diamond Bay Bowling Club has become the new home for Sydney’s Double Bay Bridge Centre. The Centre had its origins at 333 George St in the city, moving in the mid-60s to Bondi Road. It became the Double Bay Bridge Club when it relocated in 1972 to New South Head Rd. Other interests bought the club in 1975 whereafter it achieved some notoriety. But the sellers simply moved across the road and re-established themselves as the Double Bay Bridge Centre….a name which current owner Michael Prescott will retain in the new Diamond Bay location. He told J-Wire: “The Centre is famous throughout the bridge world and I will stick with name.”

The club, popular with many bridge-playing members of the community, can be contacted at 9337 6217
