Deal to bolster tourism between Israel and New Zealand
Israel and New Zealand have signed a reciprocal deal allowing tourists to work for three months without an additional visa.
The Speaker of the Knesset, Reuven Rivlin and Lockwood Smith, his counterpart in New Zealand signed the deal during Rivlin’s recent visit to New Zealand.
Rivlin officially opened the Wellington embassy after a hiatus of eight years following budgetary cuts and visited the earthquake site in Christchurch where three young Israelis lost their lives.
