David Southwick sent a message to 100th Anniversary of the  Battle of Beer Sheva events at the Victorian Parliament.

Victorian parliamentarians and guests commemorate the 100th anniversary

From Israel where he was attending the event in Beersheba itself he wrote: “It’s a privilege to co-host, together with my Parliamentary colleague Murray Thompson the 100th Anniversary commemorations of the Battle of Beer Sheva.

Unfortunately I am unable to attend as I am currently in Israel representing the Victorian Coalition at commemoration events occurring here.

I am delighted to know this historic and poignant event is being recognised in the Parliament of Victoria and I thank all those involved in this event”
